WORK CARRIED OUT IN MAREMAGNUM (BARCELONA)

Use: Building for tertiary use as the headquarters of the Red Bull® team in the America's Cup sailing competition.

It is interesting in this project that the connections between the profiles are not welded but screwed. The reason for this is that the building will be dismantled after the end of the event.

This style, called EFFICIENT ARCHITECTURE, is one of the great advantages of the TABIHAUS® system, as the panels will be reused for the realisation of another building.

EXECUTION IN ONLY 3 MONTHS

Thanks to the very high speed of the TABIHAUS® system, it was decided to close the roof first, leaving the building already covered so that the trades could overlap.

MAIN CHARACTERISTICS

As in the covered slab, TABIHAUS® panels were installed as a dry slab in the floor slabs between floors, with the necessary thickness to support the load of the intended industrial use, given the distance between profiles.

The use of materials, setting times and steps necessary to create a floor slab, and subsequently a perfectly planimetric floor, are completely eliminated with the dry installation of TABIHAUS® panels.

And all of this without the need to use high load cranes. The TABIHAUS® system has a perfect planimetry to receive the final finish and provides total fire protection on both sides (Euroclass A1, s1, d0).

Profiles were installed on the façade for the subsequent installation of a ventilated façade. As a curiosity, the ventilated façade had to be lacquered under the paint of the Swiss supplier that the Red Bull® team has approved, guaranteeing the company's corporate colour.

The end result is a magnificent, modern and beautiful building, but with a focus on functionality.
