This project posed a major challenge. It was necessary to make an annex to the building, but imitating another column in the same courtyard, which was made of prefabricated concrete walls.

CREATING AN EXTERNAL THERMAL INSULATION COMPOSITE SYSTEM FROM ZERO DIMENSION

The main problem?

To create an External Thermal Insulation Composite System from zero dimension, inside a school playground, with the danger of figuration by balls.

That is why TABIHAUS® was the chosen option, as well as for its high fire resistance, which is vital in this area.

MAIN FEATURES

Because the school was completely enclosed, precast concrete was not an option.

An External Thermal Insulation Composite System was chosen, imitating the sores in layout and shape of the expansion joints of the concrete column.

In this case, due to the mediocrity of the work, the panels were placed vertically, to make better use of the material. Remember that TABIHAUS® is an isotopic material, which allows it to be installed vertically or horizontally, maintaining the same properties.

The very high adhesion of TABIHAUS® to mortars allows it to be applied manually or by spraying, without sagging or loss of material due to excessive embedding on the substrate. This also leads to significant savings in the cost per m^2 of mortar required.

The absence of scaffolding, in addition to a saving in the total cost of the building, also allows to be less disturbing to the activity of the property.

Our 8 + 14 panel was installed for interior cladding to provide fire protection on both sides.
